DESCRIPTION:
This
tutorials shows you how easily you can turn a photo into a
beautiful colored pen drawing. You might think you can achieve
the same effect with just applying the Colored Pen Effect, but
if you try it on the original photo, you will see there is
quite a difference between the end results.
|
 |
Open
the picture Countryside Church (EP/Galleries/Image
Enhancement/Fill) and duplicate it once with Ctrl+D.
|
|
 |
1.Duplicate:
Go to Photo/Sharpen/Find Edges, and after-
wards go to Adjust/Invert.
Your picture should look like the one to the left.
|
|
 |
2.Duplicate:
Go to Effect/Artistic/Oil Paint and use these settings: Stroke detail: 3,
and Level: 70.
Go to Photo/Color/Hue&Saturation and apply these settings:
Hue: 0
Saturation: 45
Lightness: -10
Method: Master.
Click OK.

In
this screenshot you can see the two pictures beside each
other.
Activate picture 2, copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) this copy
on top of picture 1. |
|
|
 |
In
this screenshot you can see the two pictures upon each
other. Picture 1 on the bottom and picture 2 on the top.
Right click/Properties/Merge: Colorize (white arrow).
Merge All.
Go to Effect/Artistic/Colored Pen and set the Level to 85
(The Level depends on the picture you've chosen).
Now your drawing is finished - you can leave it as it is, of
you can add a frame or a
border. |
|
And
that's how my finished picture looks in the original size :))

|
|
That's
it! Just another way to turn ordinary photos into something
special.
HAVE FUN!!!
