DESCRIPTION:
This
tutorials shows you how easily you can turn an ordinary
holiday shot into a special picture.
|
 |
Open
the picture tut021_photo and duplicate it 3 times with Ctrl+D. Close
the original picture. You will not need it anymore.
On our first copy we shall use the Colored Pen. Go to Effect
(red arrow)/Artistic/ Colored Pen and set the Level to 35 (1).
|
|
 |
On
our second copy we shall use the Simplifier filter from
AmphiSoft.
Go
to Effect (red arrow)/AmphiSoft/ Simplifier 1.1. The button
Square should not be pushed ... use these settings:
HoriFontal: 10
Vertical: 3
Dark edge: 155
Light edge: 64
Spread: 0
|
|
 |
Finally
the last copy, and here we shall use the Lineart filter from
Xero.
Go to Effect/Xero/Lineart and use these settings:
Overall tone: 100
Style: Sketch
Line intensity: 4
Colouration: Colour
|
|
|
 |
Here
you can see all three copies beside each other.
1= Colored Pen
2=
AmphiSoft/Simplifier 1.1
3= Xero/Lineart
Copy (Ctrl+C) the AmphiSoft picture (2) and paste (Ctrl+V) on top of the
Colored Pen picture (1). Copy (Ctrl+C) the Xero picture (3)
and paste (Ctrl+V) on top of the two other pictures. |
|
|
 |
In
this screenshot you can see the three pictures upon each
other. Picture 1 on the bottom, picture 2 in the middle and
picture 3 on the top. Right click/Properties/Merge: If Darker
(white arrow).
Merge All.
We are almost finished, but to get some deeper color for the
picture, go to Format/ Hue&Saturation, and set the
Saturation to 20, and the picture is finished. |
|
|
|

|
Use
the picture as it is, or make a special frame for it, like the
one you can see on this screenshot.
|
|
|
That's
it! Just another way to turn ordinary photos into something
special. HAVE FUN!!!
