Picture
... I've made the background picture by myself
with an object I found on a CD with Free Clipart. You can get the
picture here, but please remember the copyright
(of the picture, not the object!) is mine,
and this picture should only be used for this tutorial
and for private use. You will also need a mask.
The mask I chose by Melisa McCurley, can be downloaded here.
It is the last one on the first row (mmdm4mskthumb.gif).

| DESCRIPTION:
2.part of this tutorial ... now we will continue with the picture,
to finish the "ice fern" effect off!
|
 |
Open the picture
tut014_photo. Go to Format/Highlight Midtone Shadow and use these
settings:
Channel: Master
Highlight: -30
Midtone: -40
Shadow: 0
The picture looks very dark now, but will
get a better effect from the ice fern mask if the
picture/background is dark.
|
|
 |
Open
your Easy Palette/Image Library and find the mask
we made in Part 1. Double click on the mask and your picture should look like the one on
the left.
Set the background color (red arrow) to
237/254/254.
|
|
 |
Click the Crop
Tool (red arrow) and then the Crop button (1).
|
|
|
 |
This is how
your picture should look! |
|
| Now
we are nearly finished. All we have to do is put a window frame
around our picture!
HAVE FUN!!!
