Open the picture
tut_photo_original.jpg and make a copy (Ctrl+D). Close the
original and work on the copy.
Click on the Crop Tool (red arrow). Draw a rectangle around the cat's
face.
Use the Crop image button (1) and crop your image.
Make a duplicate of your new cat picture (Ctrl+D). |
On one of
those copies, we shall use the effects you can see on this and the next
two screenshots:
Effect/Material Effect/Texture Filter/ Contour-Lines (red arrow)
with these settings: 8/200/2/70
Click OK/Apply Current Frame Effect to Image.
Effect/Artistic/Colored Pen, set the Level to 40 (red arrow).
And finally
the last effect:
Effect/Artistic/Color Charcoal with these settings: 6/4/60 |
Now you should
have two pictures, similar to those on the screenshot, in front of you.
Activate the picture we used the effects on (1) and make a copy
(Ctrl+C). Activate now the other picture (2) and paste this copy on
top of it (Ctrl+V). |
Make sure the
copy is placed right over the other picture (Right click/Select All
Objects, then right click/Align/Center Both).
Use the Zoom Tool to get a close-up look at the cat's eyes. Using the
Object Paint Eraser Tool (red arrow), erase enough until the yellow in
the cat's pupils from the photo underneath show through.
Zoom out to look at the results. If you are satisfied, Right Click/Merge All. |
| Now we've done the basis for the picture.
Wasn't that easy enough? The worst part is coming now ...
take it easy - just kidding!
HAVE FUN!!!
