Open the picture
and make a copy (Ctrl + D). Close the original and work on the copy.
Open the Easy
Palette/Mask Library/All (or Pattern) and use the mask with the name
P04. |
|
 |
Click on the
Transform Tool (1) and then on the Selection button (2). Now you can
change the mask as you wish.
First shall we resize the mask as big as the photo is -

and the next step is to distort the mask the way we want the result to look
like.

That's the way
I used the Transform Tool/Distort option for the picture. Just drag
the handles in the corners ... you can always use the Undo command if
you're not satisfied with the result.
|
|
|
 |
Now we just
have to do the last step, and that's to crop the picture. Click on the
Crop Tool (1) and then use the Crop button (2).
The background color (red arrow) should be set to the color you want
your mask to be. Here I used white as my background color. |

|
And that's the
result from the tutorial ...
I just added a border to it.
I often get questions about how I made the outer frame for this
picture so I decided to write down the steps ... you can find them
here. |
|
|
That's it! Wasn't that fun
..................... and easy too! You don't have to have special
filters for this tutorial, your PhotoImpact will do fine.
HAVE FUN!!!
