DESCRIPTION:
With
these screenshots I want to show you how to make the outer
frame for the picture from tut_005.
Follow the
tutorial, and after finishing, you’ll have the picture as it is
supposed to be. (On a white background). Expand the background
equally, so you get enough space to make the frame. Choose the
Path Drawing Tool (red arrow), Shape: Rectangle (white arrow),
Color: pink, - or whatsoever -, because it really doesn’t matter
(1), Mode: 3D Pipe (2). I used Width: 11 and Depth: 18 (3), but
also here you decide what you like best. Draw a rectangle as the
one you can see on the screenshot. |
Choose the
Transform Tool (white hand) - see the screenshot on the left
side - Transform method: Distort (white arrow), and drag the
corners of the path frame to fit your picture (red arrows).
The result
should look like the one you can see to the left ... of course,
depending on the shape of your own tutorial result.
Leave the
path activated, choose the Path Drawing Tool once more (red arrow)
and click the Material button (white hand). Choose Color/Texture
(white arrow) in the Material window and click the File button
(1). Now find the file of the picture you used for the tutorial,
and click OK. |

To make the frame stand “alone” (away from
the picture), choose the Transform Tool and resize the path frame
by holding down Ctrl and dragging the frame in space.
And that's how the frame looks like. |
That's it!
Now you also know how to make the frame to the tutorial
picture .... and as you could see - it wasn't to difficult
either! HAVE FUN!!!
If you need any help with
this tutorial - or want to make suggestions to improve it -
please email
me!
