Use the tile
we made in the first part and the second part, but before we changed the
transparency and used the Edit/Fill command.
Go to Effect/I.C.NET Software/Filters Unlimited 2.0/Tile &
Mirror/Quadrant Mirror. This filter doesn't have sliders to change
the settings, so just click the Apply button. This filter doesn't
have sliders. |

 |
Now we shall
change the color and the lightness of our tile in one step like we did
in Part 2, but with a little twist.
Go to Format/Hue & Saturation and use the different sliders to
find a color you like. Click on the Colorize button. For this example I used:
Hue: 65
Saturation: -45
Lightness: 65
By setting the Lightness slider that high we don't have to change the
transparency later on, neither do we need to use the Edit/Fill
command.

 |
Now go to File/Preview in Browser/As Tiled Background.
Once again we got a
different look for our background.

|
| That's
it! This technique isn't difficult at all and easy to achieve with
PhotoImpact and third-party filters. Use your imagination ...
there are endless possibilities. HAVE FUN!!!
