DESCRIPTION: Make background tiles with PI, Filters Unlimited 2.0 and Simple Filters. This tutorial has 3 parts, because I explain  different ways to make background tiles.

Remember to save often!

Use the tile we made in the first part, but before we changed the transparency and used the Edit/Fill command.
Go to Effect/I.C.NET Software/Filters Unlimited 2.0/Tile & Mirror/Mirrored & Scaled. This filter don't have any sliders to change the settings, so just click the Apply button.

Now we shall change the color and the lightness of our tile in one step.
Go to Format/Hue & Saturation and use the different sliders to find a color you like. For this example I used:
Hue: 180
Saturation: 0
Lightness: 70
By setting the Lightness slider that high we don't have to change the transparency later on, neither do we need to use the Edit/Fill command.

Now go to File/Preview in Browser/As Tiled Background. The result should look like the one to the left.

That's it for the second part of this tutorial! You see it's really easy to change the color or the pattern for your background tiles with PI and Filters Unlimited. HAVE FUN!!!
