| DESCRIPTION:
Make
a stylish Sig Tag with
PI and different filters from Toadies.
This tag was made after
a challenge for a German PI Board ... "Make a taggie with
at least 3 filters from Toadies". And that's the result.
:)

New Image: Canvas color:
White and Size: 300x300 Pixels.
Go to Edit/Fill/Gradient (white hand)/Magic gradient (1),
choose the Mode 10 (2) and click the Edit button (red arrow).
In the Palette Ramp Window choose a palette you like. I made
my own color palette... Palette-131 (3) and
changed the Ring to 265 (white arrow).
Click OK.
Effect/Toadies (red arrow)/Look, Butthead, a TV! (white arrow) and
use these settings (1):
16/128/30/80.
Your screenshot might look different, since I'm using Filters
Unlimited 2 ... but the settings are the same anyway.
Click Apply.
Open the tube you want to use and resize it to fit your image.
(If you have to resize your chosen tube, go to Format/Focus/Options and set
the Level to +1.)
Activate the resized tube (1), copy (Ctrl+C) the tube, activate the main
picture (2) and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy on it.
Right click/Duplicate,
choose the Transform Tool (red arrow)/Rotate&flip/Flip
Horizontally (white hand) and arrange the tubes as you can see
on the screenshot.
Minimize the "original" tube (1). |
Activate
one of the tubes, right click/Select All Objects, right
click/Merge as Single Object.
Right click/Align/Center Both (red arrow).
Right click/Merge All.
Effect/Toadies (red
arrow)/Weaver (white arrow) and
use these settings (1):
59/38/255.
As before ... even if you don't have FU, the settings for the
filter remain the same.
Click Apply.
Right
click the main picture (1)/All, right click/Convert to Object,
and drag your new object (2) on your free working space.
You can now close the original main picture (1) ... we will from
now on work on the other one (2).
After
closing the first image, you will now have a image like mine
on the screenshot in front of you.
Right click/Properties/General (white arrow) and change the
Transparency to 30% (red arrow).
Click OK.
Right click/Merge All.
Maximize
the tube again (1), copy (Ctrl+C) the tube, activate the main
picture (2) and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy on it. Place as you
wish.
Keep the tube activated, choose the Paintbrush (red arrow),
Size: 1 (white arrow), Color: 96/98/99 (that's a color from
the tube!) and Soft edge: 50 (3).
Go to Effect/All/Paint on
edges.
Right click/Merge All.
Right
click/All, right click/Border and set the Border width to 10
(red arrow), Direction: Inward, Shape: Box and Soft edge: 0.
Effect/Toadies/*Sucking Toad* Bevel I, and use these settings:
Bevel Width: 10
X-light: 200
Y-light: 200
Go
to Format/Expand Canvas/ Expand sides equally (red arrow): 1
Pixels (white hand), Expand color (white arrow): 219/100/101
(that's a color from the tube!).
Repeat this step 2 more times, but use other colors from your tube
each time.
Add a name
as you wish, and your taggie is finished! :))
| That's it! A stylish Sig Tag ... made with
PI and different filters from Toadies. HAVE FUN!!!
