| DESCRIPTION:
Make an easy and stylish Sig Tag with
PI and one 3rd party filter.
|
 |
New Image: Canvas color:
115/58/13 (I used the color of my homepage) and Size: 400x400 Pixels.
Open
your tube (1), copy (Ctrl+C) the tube, activate the main
picture (2) and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy on it.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/
Position & Size (3)/and go to Size.
Check that you have ticked the box Keep aspect ratio
(red arrow) and change the Height to 301 (white hand).
Now we can change the
position of the tube:
Left: 140 and Top: 68 (white arrows).
Click OK, close the original tube (1) and keep the tube on the main picture selected.
Right click the tube/Duplicate, right click and Duplicate one more time.
You should now have 3 tubes on top of each other.
|
|
 |
Open
your Layer Manager, activate the tube in the middle (1), go to
Photo/Color/Color Balance and click 2x the last thumbnail (2).
Click so 2x the 3.thumbnail in the 1.row (3). (You decide by yourself how often you
want to click - or maybe you want to use another thumbnail to
get another color?)
Click OK, and change the Transparency of the middle tube to 10% (red arrow).
|
|
 |
Move
the "pink" tube into a nice position on your
picture, and activate the 3. duplicated tube on the bottom of the Layer
Manager (1).
Go to Photo/Color//Hue&Saturation/Master (red
arrow), and use these settings:
Hue: 0
Saturation: -100
Lightness: 0.
Move this "bleached" tube on the opposite side from
the "pink" tube and you have now 3 tubes in
different colors on your picture. |
|
|
|
Activate
one of the tubes, right click/Select All Objects
(red arrow),
right click/Group
(white arrow).
Right click/
Duplicate
(white hand)
and drag the duplicated group of tubes on your free working space
(1).
Go back to your main picture (2), right click/Merge as Single
Object,
right
click/Align/Center Both, and right click/Merge All.

Effect/Toadies/Plain Mosaic Blur and use these
settings (1): 41/23/255.
Adjust/Expand Canvas, untick the box Expand sides equally (red

Copy
(Ctrl+C) your "triple tube" (1), activate the main

as you wish, and since this tubes are just grouped together and
not merged, you can Ungroup them and rearrange them if you want. (When
you are satisfied with the placement of the 3 tubes, right click
and Merge as Single Object.)
Right
