| DESCRIPTION:
Make an easy and stylish Sig Tag with PI and different filters.
|
 |
New Image: Canvas color: White and Size:
360x300 Pixels.
Open your tube and use the Eyedropper Tool to pick a nice
color from your tube for your background color (red
arrow). For this taggie I used 209/166/108.
Effect/Filter Attacks/Border:Linien ... the first screen- shot shows
you, how you can find more filters to use. Click first Filter
(white hand) and then the red down
arrow (white arrow) until you'll find the filter you want to
use.
|
|
 |
The
filter, named Border: Linien, should look like on this screenshot ... change the settings with the sliders (1) to the right.
Click the red arrow (white arrow) to apply the filter.
Go to Adjust/Expand Canvas/Expand sides equally: 20 Pixels,
Expand color: White.
|
|
 |
Open
your tube (1), copy (Ctrl+C) the tube, activate the main
picture (2) and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy on it.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/
Position & Size (3)/and go to Size.
Check that you have ticked the box Keep aspect ratio
(red arrow) and change the Height to 200 (white hand).
Now we can change the
position of the tube:
Left: -11 and Top: 69 (white arrows).
Click OK, close the original tube (1) and keep the tube on the main picture selected. |
|
|
|
Choose
the Eraser Tool (white arrow), Form: Rectangle (white hand),
and erase all of the tube on the left side - between the two red
arrows.
If you are satisfied, right click the tube on the picture/
Duplicate.
Leave the Duplicate activated.
|
|
|
|
Choose
the Transform Tool (red arrow)/Flip Horizontally (white
arrow).
Keep the Duplicate activated.
Position the Duplicate on the right side (1) as you can see on the
screenshot - like a mirror to the first tube.
Activate now the first tube again, right click/Properties/ General
and change the Transparency to 80%
(white hand).
Merge All.
|
|
|
|
For
the next step, I've zoomed in the picture ... choose the
Selection Tool (white arrow)/Rectangle and draw a rectangle
like the one you can see on the screenshot (red arrows).
|
|
|
|
Go
to Photo/Lens Filter/Spot Filter, choose Grain spot filter (red
arrow), and use these settings:
100/75/60/60 +
Color: Background Color (white hand).
Click OK.
Optional: If you want, you can use the filter Almathera/A Halo
for the selected part of the picture. I did, - with these
settings: Foreground color - here I used a dark shade of my
Background color: 104/73/32, and the settings: 8/40.
Merge All.
Choose the Text Tool, and add your name.
Merge All, and the taggie
is finished :)
|
|
And
that's how my finished taggie looks in the original size :))
|
|

|
|
| That's
it! An easy and stylish Sig Tag ... made with PI and different filters.
HAVE FUN!!!
