DESCRIPTION:
Make an easy, but stylish Sig Tag with PI and different
filters.
|
 |
Open
your tube, minimize and then open a New Image: Black canvas
and 400x400 Pixels.
Effect/Xenofex 2/Constellation and use these settings:
6.88/71/50/15/83/85 +
Twinkle Rotation: 254 +
Keep original image +
Random Seed: 1
Click OK.
For those using the alternative
filter, go to Effect/VM Natural/Sparkle and use these
settings:
31/255/255/255 + 255/118
Click OK.

|
 |
The
next steps are similar for all, but before you apply the next
filter, check your Background color in PI. Because whatever
color you have there, it will be the background for your Sig
Tag. So now is the right time to choose a color to fit your webpage,
et. cetera.
Effect/Filter Attacks/Border: Random-Polygone I.
Now you have to move the sliders to the
right to find the settings you like for your picture. It's not
possible to give exactly settings for Filter Attacks, you just
have to try and find the one you prefer. |
|
 |
Resize
your tube, copy (Ctrl+C), activate the main picture, paste
(Ctrl+V) the tube onto it and place the tube to the right
bottom corner. Choose the Text Tool (red arrow), and find the
font you want to use in the Font Panel (1). For this example I
used the font with the name Vivaldi, Size: 65, Color: White,
Style: Bold (white arrow). I also added a red (white hand) 1
pixel border to my font. Change the Mode to 3D Round (2).
Place the cursor on your picture and type your name.
Choose the Transform Tool/Rotate by degree: 5 to the left.
Move the name into the position you prefer.
Merge All. |
|
|
 |
You
can leave your Sig Tag as it is now, or you can give it a
border.
I've chosen a plain, black border, but you can also try different
other effects/filters form PI.
Adjust/Expand Canvas/Expand sides equally: 5 Pixels, Expand
color: Black (red arrow).

On
this screenshot you can see the two different alternatives.
1 = Xenofex 2 (+ a border)
2 = VM Natural/Sparkle |

Here's
the result in the original size :))

|
That's
it! A stylish, but still very easy Sig Tag ... made with PI
and different filters.
HAVE FUN!!!
