DESCRIPTION: This tutorial shows you how you can make beautiful frames for all kind of artwork ... by using PI and different filters.

Remember to save often!

To make it more easy to select a border, right click/All, right click/Border and set the Pixels of the border for the Border width, Direction: Inward, Shape: Box. You can always use the Magic Wand Tool, but this way it's more easy if you use similar colors for the background and the border. (On the assumption that all sides have been expanded equally!)
	Unzip the file you've downloaded and open the picture you want to use. (This one has a size of 235 x 304 Pixel.) Go to Adjust/Expand Canvas/Expand sides equally 1 pixel, Expand: White, .and select the border. Go to Edit/Fill/ Image (red arrow) and find the file (white arrow) you've downloaded. Check Tile the image under How to fill (1). Click OK and deselect (Enter). Expand sides equally 1 pixel, Expand color: 46/47/29 (color from your picture).
We are going to make some more frames like this two (same steps - Expand, Selection, Edit/Fill/Image with the same file and the colored one), so next time I referring to frame 1, I mean the one with the fill and if I refer to frame 2, I mean the colored one (46/47/29). Just repeat the steps we've done right now for our first two frames.
	Format/Expand Canvas/Expand sides equally 5 pixels, Expand color: White, select the border, go to Edit/Fill/ Image and use the same fill as you did for the 1. frame. Effect/Bordermania/Frame #2 with these settings: 5/5/110/130 + Notch Corners. Deselect (Enter). Add frames 2-1-2.

	Expand: 5 pixels, Expand color: White, select the border, go to Edit/Fill/Image and use the same fill as you did for the 1. frame. Keep the border selected. Effect/Greg's Factory Output Vol.II (red arrow)/Pool Shadow (white arrow) and use these settings (1): 50/50/50/50/50/50/50/150 Your screenshot might look different, since I'm using Filters Unlimited 2 - but the settings are the same anyway. Click Apply and keep the border selected. Effect/Bordermania/Frame #2 with these settings: 5/5/110/130 + Notch Corners. Deselect (Enter). Add a frame 2 (46/47/29).

	Expand: 25 pixels, Expand color: White. Select the border, and go to Effect/Screen Works/Lace Screen. Keep the border selected. Effect/Eye Candy 4/Bevel Boss: Bevel Width: 5.99 Bevel Height: 14 Smoothness: 59 + Inside marquee Darken: 64 + Shade Interior Click OK, and use the Return Key to deselect. Add frames 2-1-2-1.

	Expand: 25 pixels, Expand color: 73/73/52. Select the border, and go to Photo/Enhance/Diffuse Glow: 12/10/2 + Glow color (red arrow): 223/224/205. Deselect (Enter). Add frames 1-2. Expand: 5 pixels, Expand color: White, select the border, and go to Edit/Fill/Image and use the same fill as you did for the 1. frame. Effect/Bordermania/Frame #2 with these settings: 5/5/110/130 + Notch Corners Deselect (Enter). Add frames 2-1-2.

	Expand: 5 pixels, Expand color: White, select the border, go to Edit/Fill/Image and use the same fill as you did for the 1. frame. Keep the border selected and go to Effect/ Greg's Factory Output Vol.II /Pool Shadow and use these settings: 50/50/50/50/50/50/50/150. Keep the border selected. Effect/Bordermania/Frame #2 with these settings: 5/5/110/130 Deselect. Add a frame 2. Expand: 35 pixels, Expand color: White. Select the border, go to Effect/Krysty's FX vol.II 1.0/Pattern Generator N: 143/78/76/73 - 47/51/119. Click OK and keep the border selected.

	Effect/Eye Candy 4/Bevel Boss: Bevel Width: 5.99 Bevel Height: 14 Smoothness: 59 + Inside marquee Darken: 74 + Shade Interior Click OK, and use the Return Key to deselect. Add frames 1-2-1. Merge All.

That's it! A beautiful, special frame for a marvelous artwork ... done with PI and filters like Screen Works, Eye Candy 4 and Bordermania. HAVE FUN!!!
