PI Version: 12 (but you can use earlier, and newer versions too)
Level: Intermediate
Featured tools: Transform Tool, Pick Tool,
Additional filters: None
Additional files: 2 tubes and 2 text-file.

The two text-files are made by me to fit this tutorial. 
You are allowed to download the material here and use it for your private use, 
but you are not allowed to change the name of the tubes/or the text-files,

Remember to save often!

 

 

New Image, Size: 745 x 630 Pixels, Color: Black.

Open the tube ... E&E-M150-chicas ... copy (Ctrl+C) the tube, and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy on our main picture.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/ Position & Size (white hand), and change the Position of the tube to:
Left: 321 (red arrow) / Top: - 1 (white arrow).
Keep the tube activated.


Choose the Pick Tool (white hand) and change the Trans- parency of the tube to 20 (red arrow) und the Soft edge to 115 (white arrow).
Deselect the tube (Enter).

New Image, Size: 320 x 530 Pixels, Color: 70/70/70.
Copy (Ctrl+C) the new image and paste (Ctrl+V) it on our main picture.
Right click the little grey image on our main image/ Properties/Position & Size, and change the Position to:
Left: 20 (red arrow) / Top: 49 (white arrow).
Keep the little image activated.


Go to Web/Button Designer/Rectangular and click the second blue preview button - R02 (white hand). Change the Width (1) for all four sides to 5, but leave all the other settings as they are.
Click OK deselect (Enter). 

Open the tube ... E&E-M174-chicas ... copy the tube, and paste the copy on our main picture.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/ Position & Size, and change the Position of the tube to:
Left: - 59 / Top: 30.
Keep the tube activated, choose the eraser
(white hand), Square (red arrow), Size: approx. 50 (white arrow), Transparency: 0 and Soft edge: 0.  
This is a "Misted" tube and parts of the tube are outside of our little grey image. Use the eraser to remove this parts on all four sides.
You can see on the screenshot how I did it ... 
1 = cleaned part
2 = part covered with the "Misted" tube.
Keep the tube activated after finishing your work with  the eraser. 

Choose the Pick Tool and change the Transparency of the tube to 50 (red arrow).
Deselect the tube (Enter).  

Now add some text as you wish ... if you want to use the same text as I did, open the text-file ... text_every night i die a little more ... copy the text, and paste the copy of the text on our main picture.
Right click the text on our main picture/Properties/ Position & Size and change the position to:
Left: 375 / Top: 568.
Deselect the text (Enter).

Open the second text-file ... text_being without you means ... copy the text, and paste the copy of the text on our main picture.
Right click the text on our main picture/Properties/ Position & Size and change the position to:
Left: 363 (red arrow) / Top: 31 (white arrow).
Merge All.

Go to Web/Button Designer/Rectangular and click the second blue preview button - R02 (white hand). Change the Width (1) for all four sides to 5, but this time we also change the Colors for 2 first sides into 140/140/140 (red arrows). 
Click OK and deselect (Enter).

Go to Adjust/Expand Canvas, and expand all sides equally (red arrow) with 3 Pixels, Color: White (white hand).

Adjust/Expand Canvas, and expand all sides equally with 10 Pixels, Color: Black.

Adjust/Expand Canvas, and expand all sides equally with 1 Pixel, Color: 140/140/140.

And now your picture is finished. :))
