One mask I got with a magazine, and the other one is from the
internet.
You are allowed to download them here and use them for your
private use,
but you are not allowed to change the name of the tubes/masks,
delete the watermarks, neither offer them for sale or download.

Before we
start, you should open the masks, and store them into your Easy
Palette. In case you need to freshen up your memory on how to save
a mask into the EP - you can take a look at one of my other
tutorials, where I explain a little bit more about how to use a
mask in PI. You'll find the tutorial here.
Important - in my tutorials my masks fit the chosen
background/object ... you achieve this by right clicking any mask
inside the original category Mask Library in your Easy Palette.
Now you choose the option Fit Mask.
Very important:
Do NOT merge the pictures
before I tell you
to do so!

I
suppose you've downloaded the texture from here
...
open the background texture - gh_texture_06.jpg and resize it to
800x600.
Open
the tube - jet-woman14-juni-2007 -, copy (Ctrl+C) the tube (1), activate
our main picture (2), and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy of the tube on
it.
Close the downloaded tube ... the tube on the main picture should still be activated.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/ Position
& Size (white hand)/Position and use these settings:
Left: 472 (red arrow)
Top: 2 (white arrow).
Click OK and keep the tube selected.

Choose
the Pick Tool (white hand), change the Trans- parency to 15 (red
arrow) and the Soft edge to 3 (white arrow).
Deselect the tube (Enter).
Open
the tube - jet-couple-juni-2007 -, copy (Ctrl+C) the tube, and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy of the tube on
our main picture .
Close the downloaded tube ... the tube on the main picture should still be activated.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/ Position
& Size/Position and use these settings:
Left: 6 / Top: 2.
Keep the tube selected, choose the Pick Tool and change the
Transparency to 60.
Deselect the tube (Enter).

Open
your Easy Palette/Libraries (white hand) and double-click the mask
- Xen.Mask29.PspMask (1) -, which
you've downloaded, unzipped and stored into the EP.
On the screenshot you can see that the mask applied on
the image (2).
Go to Edit/Fill/Color and fill the mask with Black.
Deselect the mask (spacebar) and Merge All.

Go
to
Adjust/Expand Canvas, and expand all sides equally (red arrow) with 30 Pixels, Color:
Black (white hand).
Click OK.

Open
your Easy Palette/Libraries and double-click the mask
- dcm56-border007 -, which
you've downloaded, unzipped and stored into the EP.
On the screenshot you can see that the mask applied on
the image.
Choose the Transform Tool (white hand), click the button Action on
Selection (red arrow), and flip the mask Horizontally (white
arrow).
Keep the mask activated, go to Edit/Fill/Color and fill the mask
with the color: 155/195/146.
Keep the mask activated.

Right click/Invert (white arrow), and right click/Convert to
Object (red arrow).
Keep the (inverted) mask selected.
|

Right
click/Shadow and use these settings:
Color: Black (white hand) + 5 altern. (red arrow)
Transparency: 50
Shadow size: 102
Soft edge: 10.
Click OK and deselect the mask (Enter).

Effect/Cybia/Screen
Works/Fine Rule (red arrow) and use the default setting.
Click OK and Merge All.
|

|
Right
click/All, right click/Border, and use these settings:
Border width: 10 Pixels (white hand), Direction: Inward (red
arrow), Shape: Box and Anti-aliasing.
Click OK and keep the border selected.

|
|
Go to Edit/Fill/Color (white arrow), set the Transparency to 50
(red arrow) and fill the mask with Black (white hand).
Click OK and deselect the mask (spacebar).
Right
click/All, right click/Border, and use these settings:
Border width: 3 Pixels, Direction: Inward, Shape: Box and Anti-aliasing.
Keep the border selected, go to Edit/Fill color and fill the
border with Black (remember to set the Transparency to 0 !)
Deselect (spacebar).
Add
some text as you want, and your blend is finished :))

it! A beautiful picture ... made with PI, two tubes, two masks,
one background texture and one 3rd party filter. HAVE FUN!!!
