DESCRIPTION: Make a stylish Sig Tag with PI and different 3rd party filter.

Remember to save often!

Open a New Image: White canvas and 500x300 Pixels.

Go to Edit/Fill/Gradient (1) and choose the 4.alternative (white hand).
Fill color/Two-color. I used:
0/32/64 (red arrow)
196/225/255 (white arrow).

With the filter we are using afterwards I recommend that you choose one very dark color and a lighter (not too light) shade of the same color as second color.

Effect/ECWS (red arrow)/Tile Maker 1.0 (white arrow), and use this setting:
Edge Width: 144.
Using FU, you can hold down ALT and click apply, because we are going to use the same filter one more time, but have change the Edge Width to 108.

If you don't have Filters Unlimited, you just apply this filter twice ... the first time with the setting mentioned above (Edge Width 144), and the second time with the setting Edge Width 108.

Selection Tool (white hand), and choose Fixed size (red arrow): 250/250.
Make the selection and try to make it in the middle of the picture, as you can see it on the screenshot. (You can also move the selection into the middle afterwards by using the arrow keys on your keyboard.)
Right click/Convert to Object and keep the object selected.
Go to Edit/Fill/Gradient and fill with the same gradient as you used before.
Keep the object selected, and go to ECWS/ Tile Maker 1.0, and use the setting: 30.
Drag the object aside, as you can see on the next screenshot.

The object is now our little picture (1).
Activate the main picture (2), and go to Edit/Undo, until before we created a new selection (red arrow).
Effect/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss and use the default settings.

Copy (Ctrl+C) the object (1), activate our main picture (2), and paste (Ctrl+V) the copy of the object on it.
Right click the object on our main picture/ Align/Center Both (red arrow).

Right click/Shadow, Color: Black (white hand), and choose the 1.alternative (red arrow). Use these settings:
4/4/50/100/10.
Click OK and keep the object selected.
Effect/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss and use the default settings.

Open the tube and resize it to a Width of 249 (Height: 242).
Copy (Ctrl+C) the resized tube (1), activate the main picture (2), and paste (Ctrl+V) the tube on it.
Right click the tube/Properties/Position & Size (white hand)/Position:
Left: 124 (red arrow)
Top: 39 (white arrow)
Click OK and close the original tube ... your tube on the main picture should still be activated.

Go to Photo/Hue&Saturation/Colorize (red arrow), and color the tube to fit your background. Here I used these settings:
Hue: 34
Saturation: -48
Lightness: -13
Click OK and keep the tube activated.

Choose the Pick Tool (white arrow) and set the Transparency to 30 (red arrow).
Deselect the tube (return key).

Go to Effect/Bordermania/Frame #2, and use these settings:
4/4/110/130 + Notch Corners.

Merge All.

Add some text ... if you want to, ... and your taggie is finished! :))

Another try after the same tutorial. :))

That's it! A stylish Sig Tag ... made with PI, an object and some 3rd party filter. HAVE FUN!!!
