DESCRIPTION:
Make a stylish Sig Tag with PI, an object and different 3rd
party filter.
Before we
start, you should store the extra file for the Xero filter inside
the same map where you've installed the filter Xero on your
computer. This filter isn't really necessary ... you can also use
the Texture Filter from PI ... I made one taggie with a texture
from the Texture Filter ... if you scroll all way down, it's the
last one, the light blue one.
Open
the object ... choose if you want to make a light or dark taggie,
and change the color (Photo/Hue&Saturation) if you want to.
Adjust/Expand Canvas: Expand color: White and
tick the box expand sides
equally (red arrow). Expand with 30 Pixels.
Click OK.
Deselect the object (return key), and go to Edit/Fill/Color and
fill the background with a nice color that suits your object. Here
I used 117/34/74.
Go
to Effect/Xero/Tekstya. Click the Load button (white hand), and
find the extra file with the name stipje.tek (red arrow), which
you've stored together with your Xero filter (white arrow).
Effect/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss and use the default settings.
Merge All.
Effect/Simple/Centre Tile. |
Choose
the Selection Tool (red arrow), and select the middle of your
taggie as you can see it on the screenshot (white arrows).
Right click/Convert to Object. |
Right
click/Shadow, Color: Black (red arrow), and choose the
3.alternative (white hand). Use these settings:
2/2/50/102/10.
Click OK.
Open
the tube (1) and copy it (Ctrl+C). Activate our main picture (2), and paste (Ctrl+V) the tube on it.
Right click the tube on our main picture/Properties/Position & Size (white hand)/Position:
Left: 85 (red arrow)
Top: 99 (white arrow)
Click OK and close the original tube.
Deselect the tube on the main picture (return key).
Be aware ... these settings are only for this tube, and also if
you've used the same adjustments as I did before. Or else,
you have to find the right settings for your tube by trying. |
Right
click/All, right click/Border:
Border width: 2 (white hand)
Direction: Inward (red arrow)
Shape: Box
and Anti-aliasing.
Click OK and keep the border selected.
Go to Edit/Fill/Image (white hand), and find the file of the gold fill you've
downloaded (red arrow). Fill the border with the gold fill.
Deselect the border (space bar).
Find some nice decorations, or make yourself some with the Path
Tool, and fill this decorations with the same gold fill.

Add
some text ... if you want to, ... and your taggie is finished!
:)) |

Another try after the same tutorial.
:))

And one more! For this taggie I used
the Texture Filter from PI, instead of the Xero filter. :))
| That's
it! A stylish Sig Tag ... made with PI, an object and some 3rd party filter. HAVE FUN!!!
